Habitat Seeks New Development Officer

Habitat Seeks New Development Officer

November 9, 2017 — It is with regret but warm wishes that Teton Habitat announces the resignation of Courtney Allen as Development Officer.  At the end of November, Allen will be moving on to pursue a Director of Philanthropy position within the veteran service arena, allowing her to work within a field for which she has great passion and to grow in her personal career.  “Courtney has shown great enthusiasm for Habitat’s mission and this community, and she will be missed dearly,” said Habitat’s Executive Director Kendra Heimbuck.

Allen stepped into the Development Officer position at a pivotal time for Teton Habitat, as they were reopening the ReStore at the original China Town Plaza location, breaking ground on two homes in Alpine (the first Teton Habitat homes built outside of Teton County), and gearing up for the development of The Grove, Phase III.  Through her time with Teton Habitat, Allen sustained annual fund endeavors while helping to launch Teton Habitat’s first large-scale campaign effort to raise funds for The Grove, Phase III.

Teton Habitat is looking to hire a replacement for this Development Officer position and is accepting applications, in the form of a cover letter and resume, through November 27.  Candidates for this position should have a passion for building relationships, a desire to connect individuals and businesses to Habitat’s mission, a high level of organization and attention to detail, and should operate with professionalism.  The position is full-time salary, with health insurance, matched retirement savings and paid vacation.  In addition to the compensation package, this position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team working to affect real change in the lives of members of our community, while gaining experience with fundraising events, an annual fund and comprehensive campaign efforts.  Interested candidates can email a cover letter and resume to jobs@tetonhabitat.org.

Building strength, stability, and self-reliance!
