Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area (Teton Habitat) will come under new leadership with the recent hiring of Kris Greenville, who has enthusiastically accepted the role as Executive Director for the organization. He replaces Kendra Heimbuck who left the position and moved from the area in early August when her husband took a full-time job in Sheridan.
“Following a lengthy process during which time we received more than 35 applicants, our search committee and staff unanimously agreed to hire Kris. He has spent his entire career in the non-profit world and has the leadership qualities, community-oriented passion, and diverse skill sets we were looking for,” says Carol Linton, President of the Board.
Kris is leaving his position as Wilderness Medicine Business Operations Manager at NOLS in Lander to assume the role on or before October 1st. Before working for NOLS, Greenville spent ten years working in various positions for Pacific Pension & Investment Institute (PPI) in San Francisco, CA. While employed with PPI, Greenville increased membership revenue by 73%, directed their membership acquisition and retention program, and managed a diverse staff. In 2017, he left the organization as Vice President to pursue his dreams of living in Wyoming. Greenville began his non-profit career working for the YMCA as both a program and membership director.
“I came to Wyoming a little over 18 months ago to change the trajectory of my career and establish roots in this amazing region. I am excited about working for an important, community-based organization like Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area,” says Kris. Stop by Teton Habitat’s booth at Old Bill’s Fun Run for an opportunity to meet and welcome Kris to our team.
