Each year, Teton Habitat needs to raise $1.5 million in donations to build truly affordable homes in the Tetons.
Teton Habitat is the only organization building homes for individuals and families making between the 30-80% Median Family Income (MFI). Donations help us build truly affordable homes for these community members. Our EIN is 83-0312179.

This number does not include development-specific fundraising. Providing truly affordable housing in Teton County is full-time, year-round work, even between developments. We maintain the first right to repurchase every home we build to ensure that inventory remains affordable and available to individuals and families. This means that even between developments we are screening potential applicants and hosting learning sessions for potential homeowners. We also support partner homeowners with homeownership education courses and provide opportunities to complete their 500 hours of labor, or "sweat equity," in building their homes and those of their neighbors. The housing crisis in Teton County shows no signs of slowing. According to the Teton Region Needs Assessment, 43% of families in our community would qualify for a Teton Habitat home. With donations from supporters like you, we can build more homes for more neighbors.

Then, every time you shop at Smith’s with your Rewards Card, they donate 0.5% of your total order to our nonprofit.* Helpful Information: What purchases qualify? Just about everything you purchase during your regular shopping trips! The only exclusions are alcohol, tobacco, postage stamps, Smith’s Gift Cards, re-loadable Gift Cards and debit cards, lottery and promotional tickets, Western Union, fuel and sales tax. There’s no cost to participate in this program, and you’ll still earn fuel points on eligible purchases every time you shop.
