Through building shelter together, we empower
It takes a community to build affordable housing in Teton County. Our volunteers are critical to keeping construction costs low and making a Habitat house truly affordable. Whether you are a builder or have never used a hammer, you can make a difference in your community.
Construction Site
Teton Habitat welcomes volunteers to the construction site on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the Winter. Shifts are 8:45am to 4pm with a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Walk-ins are discouraged – please sign up for a shift prior to arrival. Volunteers do not need construction experience. Each volunteer day, the Teton Habitat construction team provides the necessary training and organizing. You can volunteer once, weekly, or monthly. For more information, contact Community Engagement Manager, Hannah Greene, at 307.734.0828 ext. 102 or via email at hannah@tetonhabitat.org.

TEAMBuild
We also offer group volunteer opportunities - if your team or organization is interested in volunteerism, a Habitat TEAMBuild is a wonderful team-building experience. Invite a group of friends, family, or coworkers out for a fun, fast-paced, impactful volunteer day! Our volunteer days are extremely hands-on and are a great learning opportunity for those new to home construction, all while making a difference in the community.
